Pa. Dems to hold straw poll on 2010 governor race

With only eight months to go before the 2010 primary, Democrats will be able to vote for their favorite candidate for Governor.

On Friday, Aug. 28, the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee will hold a straw poll at its summer picnic. Anyone who buys a ticket to the All American Home Style picnic at the Radisson Penn Harris in Camp Hill will be able to vote.

While it’s a non binding event, it creates enthusiasm while raising money for the Party. Tickets for the picnic are $30. Anyone sponsoring the event at $1,000 will receive 100 votes toward their favorite candidate.
