Take 5 seconds AND look at some of Doug Pike’s past writings and you’ll see that this guy is a bleeding heart liberal media hack whose trying to become a Congressman with the wealth he inherited as a rich kid son of a former Long Island Congressman. He didn’t even live in this district until just recently when he decided to run.

DON’T BELIEVE THE HYPE…………..

Curt Schroder is an actual legislator, well-respected on both sides of the aisle, with a real record of reform. When people ask what his agenda will include, he can point to multiple bills he’s sponsored, many of which have broad, populist appeal.

Doug Pike is a refugee from a dying industry with a base currently entirely comprised of the usual suspects in the Democrat party. Not regular Democrat voters in the district, mind you. He has money because his party has been targeting the district for years, and also because he inherited it.

He’s already spending it on the same consulting team from Philadelphia that worked for Nutter and Rendell. They don’t come cheap. And, unlike Rep. Schroder, a lot of people have no clue who he is.

Here’s a less cynical prediction I will make: Curt Schroder, eventually, will raise more money from regular voters in the district itself than Doug Pike. By a lot.
