Iraq vet to take on Carney

Chris Carney has an opponent.

The 10th District Congressman, considered to be one of the safer Democrats occupying conservative seats, got his first challenger Friday when Iraq war veteran Christopher Bain announced his candidacy, The Sun-Gazette reports. At a anti-tax Tea Party, the Purple Heart winner said he would be an advocate for veterans.

“I want to fight for our vets. I also want to fight for you,” Bain told the crowd.

I was there and he told people that he supported a “budget” and was pro-life and pro-choice at the same time. This guy is great, everyone loves him in Williamsport. Bain for Congress, then Governor, then the White House!

Saw Bain again this week at a local tavern. He is working hard to meet people in Williamsport.

I met Chris Bain in late november. He is a straight forward person that the people of PA can be proud to have on their side. He impressed me as a hard worker, and a guy thats tougher than nails. he’ll fight for what’s right.
