Schwartz: Republicans ‘have not been very constructive’
Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz (D-13) on Tuesday reiterated her support for a public option for health care, but said that Republicans have sought to block any efforts at reform.
“We have always wanted this and would love to see it be a bipartisan bill,” Schwartz said on MSNBC. “[Republicans are] looking for every way to right really doing what we want to do in this country.”
She insisted that when all is said and done, “there will be a public alternative.”
“The Republicans,” she said, “unfortunately have not been very constructive in being abel to move this debate forward.”

Yeah, Governor of San Francisco! That’s where her “integrity” would be at home.

Schwartz needs to be voted OUT of office! She does NOT represent the 13th district, or the interest of the working man (or woman), or small businesses. Look at her voting record…it’s all fluff. Where’s HER townhall meeting? She’s a fundraiser, PERIOD! I’ve never written on this forum before, but as an Independent who voted for Obama, I’ll vote for whoever opposes Schwartz in 2010.

I agree completely with Anonymous, She needs to be retired and voted out of office. She represents special interests only. She has not had any Town Hall meetings to meet with her constiuents, she only has time to appear on MSNBC. Damian Dachowski is running against her in 2010. Everyone vote for Damian.

I have emailed Allyson Schwartz 5 times and called her office 2 times in August hoping to discuss healthcare with her. I asked every time about a Townhall meeting, but never got an answer. She certainly does not represent me or my family. I did get a “canned” reply from her office, though. Three times in one paragraph she patted herself on the back for how much she has done for us. She doesn’t represent me, doesn’t have a back bone, and doesn’t have the common courtesy to reply to the people she was hired by. I have just signed up to volunteer for Damian Dachowski, who, I believe will listen and represent the people of the 13th. So long Mrs. Schwartz!!!
