Someone should ask Onorato today about the war on demonstrators that has been going on in Pittsburgh over the last several weeks, suppression that he apparently supports.

Pittsburgh is bankrupt. It went under Act 47 supervision when Onorato became Executive. He did change the status quo. Pittsburgh is still operating under supervision. The status quo in Pennsylvania is that we are not yet bankrupt despite Ed’s best efforts so I guess Beer Tax Onorato will change the status quo and put the entire state under bankruptcy supervision.

Seems like a bunch of stock lines strung together — of course, I haven’t read the full speech, so I suppose that’s what it would look like in this format.

I have a hard copy of his prepared remarks, but I’ll try and get a digital version so I can post them in full.
