Sestak copied me!
I knew The In-Specter was a clever name when I launched this blog back in April, but I had no idea that Arlen Specter’s opponents would nakedly copy me in an attempt to scrutinize the sitting Senator. Yet, that is precisely what Joe Sestak has done with a new set of Web videos entitled “Arlen InSpecter,” in which Sestak hopes to highlight Specter’s ties to his own Republican colleagues. See the first video here.
Expect this to be the familiar refrain for the rest of the primary (and, if Arlen makes it, for the general too): you can’t trust Arlen Specter. It’s a simple meme validated by Specter’s wishy-washy independence and politically expedient, party-switching ways, and Specter is going to need to work hard to fight off the assault on his trustworthiness by expounding some sort of cogent political philosophy that explains his recent discombobulation on everything from the public option to his vote on the Dawn Johnsen OLC nomination.
In the meantime, I’ll take imitation as the sincerest form of flattery.

Joe’s campaign has NO respect for copyright, intellectual property, or data. Theft of service doesn’t bother them, since they don’t believe in paying for services.
Joe also promised to run a Senate campaign that was about running FOR something not AGAINST someone. That didn’t last long.
Joe’s attack on Arlen for returning money is the dumbest yet. It’s not like Sestak wants Arlen to stop returning money. Sestak would LOVE to see Arlen give back more money.
If Sestak REALLY cared about the party, he would give back the MILLIONS he defrauded out of the donors to the 7th congressional district. Every dollar of that money Sestak spends on this primary, is a dollar Pat Meehan doesn’t have to raise to defend against the Dems.

A study in contrast.
Adam: “In the meantime, I’ll take imitation as the sincerest form of flattery.”
David: “Joe’s campaign has NO respect for copyright, intellectual property, or data.”
Kudos, Adam, for being the bigger person.

Lee-
Sestak’s campaign has a history of stealing resources. This is just one more example of them expanding. Wait until Sestak steals from you. (Actually, he’s already stolen your trust. You just don’t realize it yet.)

What happens when Sestak wins? Are you guys gonna vote in 2010?

What happens when Sestak wins? Are you guys gonna vote in 2010? I don’t think I’ve seen this much whining since I was in the school yard.
