The Republicans did nothing? How about all the closed door really secret meetings at 3 AM? How about being totally shut out re: amendments to bills that will put our health care system on a par w/ 3d world countries? How about a level of debt (while Pelosi, Reid and their minions use personal jets at OUR expense)that is making the dollar crash, while Republicans try to stem the tide? How about the Republicans begging to regulate Freddy Mac and Fanny Mae in sub-prime mortgages, while Barney Frank says there isn't any reason to look into the situation?It's real hard to get on the map when it's hidden and you're blocked from trying to get input. The Republicans ARE trying, but it isn't easy in the face of a power-mad majorty. For that matter, how about those of us who pay their taxes, work real hard, and are still taxed above and beyond what we can afford - for health care and everything else? How about being an American?
