He was the leading opponent on the ban on assault weapons to keep them out of the hands of nuts when he was on the Pittsburgh City Council. Three police officers were killed by a lunatic with an assault rifle this year. Choices have consequences.

Who mischaracterized his positions? The public does not know what his positions were. We don’t even know what his positions are now that he has ‘characterized’ them. Is this guy ready for prime time? He sounds like a yunzer.
