He bought a small bank. He changed the policies of the bank to provide desperate people high interest rate loans until their next payday as part of his business plan. His bank made a lot of money from this practice which made it an attractive target for a bigger bank. He sold the bank and made $17 million or so. Do I have that about right? Ok.
