I suspect that Lynn will remind everyone what the real Arlen Specter really thinks of women, as exhibited by his shameful abuse of Anita Hill in his push to have the unqualified sex abuser and right wing activist Clarence Thomas confirmed to the Supreme Court. That’s the Real Arlen Specter.

Yeakel also had this to say about Specter when he switched:
“For one thing, he’s been a leader on investing in health issues. We were all delighted with the extra funding that he was able to put in the N.I.H. budget earlier this year. And he’s always been a supporter of a woman’s right to choose.”

Yeakel gave Sestak $2,000 for his 2006 run and the full $4,600 for his 2008 run (including $1,100 he didn’t need a week before the election).

She’s also already given Sestak the max $2,400 for the 2010 Primary as of June 22nd.

So, she’s $9,000 in the hole, and likely to kick in a final $2,400 for the General election. My recommendation to her:

Hold onto that $2,400 until AFTER the May 2010 Primary. Joe can’t spend it before then, and won’t be able to accept it if he loses.
