Lentz gets to brunch with the MontCo big-wigs
As he continues to shore up support among political insiders in southeast Pennsylvania, state Representative Bryan Lentz (D-Delaware) will be enjoying a little brunch on Sunday with some of Montgomery County’s high-profile Democrats.
In a reception Sunday morning at the home of state Senator Daylin Leach (D-Montgomery), Lentz will be joined by local party chairman Marcel Groen, Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz (D-13) and former state Senator Connie Williams. Lentz’s 7th District congressional campaign told supporters of the event in an e-mail Friday. Suggested donations range from $500 to $2,400, the maximum individual contribution for a primary or general election.
Lentz is the Democratic front-runner in a primary against environmental lawyer Gail Conner and political consultant E. Teresa Touey.

Is this event still on with the snow storm blanketing the area?
Dan, see if you can find out and post something to update the status.
BTW, does a $2400 donation come with a free snow mobile rental?

Yes.
As of Staurday afternoon, the event is still on.
I think everyone will enjoy this event after a day of being snowbound.

Are you saying that Meehan is into “spanking”?
If so, he’s going to be disappointed when he loses in November.

Why is Colleen inviting people to call Mr. Lentz’s district office about a political event? Isn’t this practice the exact illegality that is causing Bonusgate?

Rep. Lentz has a totally separate campaign office. It’s a 484 number.

James-
It says “office”. Not “district office”. Since this is clearly a campaign event, it’s pretty obvious that Colleen meant “campaign office”.
It’s called “context”.
I hope you are as vigilante if/when Meehan commits an actual violation as you are pretending to be vigilante for this non-issue.
Colleen-
Next time, leave the campaign office phone number for people like James.

Mr Kelly-
Sorry if I confused you. I will be happy to clarify.
This is a campaign event. I had just come from the campaign office when I posted my comment. I will indeed be careful to be as specific as possible in future.
The campaign office phone number is (484) 472-7638. Looking forward to a cordial event next Tuesday, December 29.
All the best.
