Lackawanna Dems back Wagner, Specter (Updated)

Lackawanna Dems back Wagner, Specter (Updated)

Auditor General Jack Wagner continues to rack up Democratic Party support ahead of the May gubernatorial primary, with the latest endorsement coming from the Lackawanna County Democratic Committee.

The local party formally backed Wagner at its meeting Monday night. The party also endorsed Senator Arlen Specter’s reelection bid.

“Jack possesses the integrity, leadership and accountability that is needed in the Governor’s office,” John O’Boyle, a member of the county party’s executive committee, said in a campaign statement Tuesday.

Even as he faces a stark fundraising deficit against Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato, Wagner’s support from within local party organizations has continued to grow since early last month, when he was the top vote-getter at the Democratic State Committee meeting. He did not garner the two-thirds vote needed for a formal state party endorsement.

Lackawana County Democratic Committee is a complete joke. They’re endorsements mean nothing, to the Democratic voters of Lackawanna County. Last night they also endorsed Joe Corcoran for State Senate, over former gubernatorial candidate Chris Doherty. They also endorsed Kanjorski over sitting Lackawanna County Commissoner Corey O’Brien. The Democratic voters of Lackawanna County aren’t influenced by the committee.

    TELL ARLEN SPECTER,

I’M STILL WAITING TO HEAR BACK FROM HIM?

I HAVE REPORTED CORRUPTION AND CHILD ABDUCTION TO MANY FOR OVER 8 MONTHS NOW WITHOUT HELP?

AG CASE#200706634 FAILS TO BE PROSECUTED AND THE U.S. SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE WERE TO ENSURE THAT MY CASE WAS PROSECUTED.

SO WHY AM I STILL A TARGET FOR INTIMIDATION, WRONGFUL INPRISONMENT AND WHY HAVE I NOT RECEIVED FEDERAL WITNESS PROTECTION?

YOU WANT PROTECT WITNESSES RIGHT – THATS WHAT OUR OFFICIALS ARE TELLING EVERYONE WHO READS PHILADELPHIA NEWS PUBLICATIONS.
