Biden keeps up the push for Specter

Vice President Joe Biden will once again be in Pennsylvania later this month to raise money for Senator Arlen Specter’s reelection.

Specter told supporters in an e-mail Thursday that Biden would appear at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh on Oct. 19.

Coming on the heels of his recent appearance in Bucks County and President Obama’s showing in Philadelphia last month, the schedule shows the administration’s continuing commitment to Specter’s campaign.

Biden joins Specter in Pa. today

Vice President Joe Biden is in Carlisle today with Senator Arlen Specter to talk up President Obama’s economic stimulus package, according to the White House (hat tip to Early Returns).
